Superlon taps Jeremy Liu as chief executive


PETALING JAYA: Superlon Holdings Bhd has appointed Jeremy Liu as its chief executive officer with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the rubber insulation manufacturer said Liu (40) worked in the group since February 2010 as assistant research and development manager.

He succeeds his mother, Jessica Hsiu-Lin Liu, who has stepped down due to internal re-organisation.

Separately, Superlon announced that its net profit for the first quarter ended July 31, 2026 rose to RM5.48mil from RM3.08mil in the previous corresponding period.

Revenue in the first quarter, meanwhile, grew to RM39.23mil from RM33.29mil a year earlier.

The company also said gross profit margin improved from 25.8% to 34.2% year-on-year.
