HE Group unit bags RM25mil purchase order


PETALING JAYA: HE Group Bhd says its wholly-owned subsidiary Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM25mil purchase order for power distribution system works for a manufacturer involved in the assembly, testing and packing of NAND flash memory products in Malaysia.

The contract shall commence upon acceptance and shall be completed within 20 weeks, it said in a stock exchange filing.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of HE Group and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of the group.

The company added that there are no foreseeable significant risks other than operational risk associated with the purchase order during the project duration.
