Techna-X appoints Tunku Kamariah as deputy chairman


KUALA LUMPUR: Techna-X Bhd has appointed Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar as its executive director and deputy chairman, effective today.

Tunku Kamariah, 70, is a member of the Johor royal family.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the diversified technology group said Tunku Kamariah currently serves as a trustee of the Sultan Iskandar Foundation, which supports postgraduate scholars from less privileged backgrounds in their education and research.

Tunku Kamariah is also patron of PS The Children, a non-governmental organisation supporting sexually abused children in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and an ambassador of the Asian Liver Center at Stanford University in the United States.

She is also a director of AHB Holdings Bhd and has been involved in Malaysia’s construction, development and agricultural sectors. - Bernama
