Alam Maritim appoints Aloysius Albert Michael as senior strategic adviser

PETALING JAYA: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd has appointed Datuk Aloysius Albert Michael as its senior strategic adviser effective Sept 3, 2026.

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Aloysius’ role will be to assist the board of directors on matters relating to business strategy, corporate development, operational performance, business expansion, strategic partnerships and other strategic initiatives.

A substantial owner of Alam Maritim with a 12.436% interest, his vast industry experience and strategic insight are expected to support the group’s long-term growth.

Aloysius is also currently the chief executive officer of Alam Maritim’s wholly owned subsidiary, Subsea Worldwide Solutions Sdn Bhd – bringing with him more than 56 years of experience in the underwater service industry for the oil and gas sector.

“He has extensive regional and international experience across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other markets. He has also been involved in the development and establishment of subsea and underwater service businesses.”
