JTGB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company.

PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd (JTGB) has secured a contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for works involving the establishment of the 132/33 kilovolts (kV) Tumpat gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation in Kelantan and a 132kV overhead line from the Tumpat substation to Point A.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, JTGB said the contract is worth RM69.49mil.

“The contract is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new 132/33kV GIS at PMU Tumpat, complete with primary equipment, secondary systems, civil and building works.

“The contract shall be effective from Aug 26, 2026 and shall be completed within 730 days from the commencement date of the contract, which will be determined later.”

It said the award will not have any effect on the share capital and the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the firm.
