KUALA LUMPUR: Mulpha International Bhd
recorded a lower net profit of RM170.8mil for the second financial quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), compared to RM270.85mil in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the profit decline was mainly due to a one-off gain from the divestment of the group’s 15.8% equity interest in Hydra RL Topco Pty Ltd in the previous corresponding quarter.
Revenue increased to RM263.13mil in 2Q26 as compared to RM201.63mil registered in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
On prospects, Mulpha International said the group’s diversified portfolio, spanning hospitality and leisure, residential development and property investment, is expected to provide resilience through an uncertain operating environment in the remainder of 2026.
