KUALA LUMPUR: AEON Bank (M) Bhd has launched its Merdeka Bonus Campaign 2026, offering cash rewards to customers who make payments using DuitNow QR.
The country’s first digital Islamic bank, in a statement, said the six-week campaign, which runs from Aug 17 to Sept 27, will select 69 winners each week to receive RM31 in cash, credited to their AEON Bank Savings Account-i.
Customers will receive one lucky draw entry for every DuitNow QR transaction of at least RM15.
A total of 414 winners will be selected over the campaign period, with each eligible customer allowed to win up to three times, for a maximum cash reward of RM93.
Separately, AEON Bank held an event at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 21, where 30 participants received its Malaysian Food Edition Neko plush toys.
The bank said it would hold another giveaway in conjunction with Malaysia Day.
AEON Bank, which was launched in May 2024, offers Shariah-compliant personal and business banking services.
Its personal banking services include Savings Account-i, Term Deposit-i, Personal Financing-i, DuitNow QR, JomPay and other digital payment services.
