KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd
said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a RM223mil contract from Sunway Majestic Sdn Bhd for the construction of the main building works for a small office, home office (SOHO) in Johor Bahru.
In an announcement filed with Bursa Malaysa, the construction firm said its unit is undertaking the works for 1,012 SOHO units over two 34-storey building blocks.
The works will also include 10 podium parking levels with two levels of mezzanine commercial space and two levels of facilities.
The contract shall commence on Sept 1, 2026, and will be completered within 32 months.
Kerjaya Prospek said the contract is expected to provide it with an additional revenue stream for the next three years.
The win represents Kerjaya Prospek's third in Johor Bahru since 2025. Year-to-date, its FY26 new contract wins have reached RM2.4bil, exceeding its initial target of RM2bil for the year.
"With a total outstanding order book of RM5bil, this provides us with strong earnings visibility over the coming years," said Kerjaya CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong in a statement.
