EITA Resources unit undertakes RM62.3mil upgrading job from Prasarana


KUALA LUMPUR: EITA Resources Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary EITA Elevator (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM62.3mil letter of award from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd for the proposed upgrading of lifts and escalators at light rail transit (LRT) stations from Gombak to Kelana Jaya, including the Subang Dept of Kelana Jaya Line.

The group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing it is expected to complete the contract within 48 months from the date of commencement of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

"The award will not have any effect on share capital and/or shareholdings of the company.

The board envisages that the award is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings of the group for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2026," it said.
