Dataprep appoints new chief executive


PETALING JAYA: Dataprep Holdings Bhd has made Rashwin Thind Gurmit Singh its new chief executive, replacing Datuk Syahril Yusri Abdul Aziz, who will assume his new role as executive director of the company, effective yesterday.

According to the group’s bourse filing, Rashwin is an entrepreneur and executive with over 15 years of leadership experience across aviation, telecommunications, technology, sustainable resources and agri-technology.

“He has a strong track record in business development, regulatory turnarounds and stakeholder management across Malaysia and Asean,” said the group.

The 39-year-old’s appointment coincided with the redesignation of Dataprep’s executive chairman Wan Ahmad Rudirman Wan Razak as its managing director, also effective yesterday.
