Cosmos bags RM4.8mil water metre contract

PETALING JAYA: Cosmos Technology International Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Cosmos Instruments Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM4.77mil contract from Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd to replace mechanical water meters with electromagnetic metres under the utility company’s outsourcing programme.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Cosmos said the 15-month contract was accepted on July 28, 2026, following the award dated July 22.

The project will commence on a date to be stipulated by Air Selangor and is expected to be completed by October 2027.

The contract adopts a performance-based profit-sharing model, with profits determined through a gain-sharing mechanism for each mechanical water meter successfully replaced with an electromagnetic metre.
