Maxis Bhd has signed an initial pact with a firm controlled by the Pahang royal family for fibre and mobile connectivity in the Kota Sultan Ahmad Shah township.

Velesto Energy Bhd has secured a contact worth about US$51.0mn from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia BV, a unit of Chevron Malaysia, for integrated rig, drilling and completion services in the North Malay Basin.

AME Elite Consortium Bhd and KLK Land Sdn Bhd have unveiled their joint-venture 151.2-acre industrial park development named i-Park @ Coalfields in Sungai Buloh, Selangor that  has a gross development value of RM1.3bn.

Orkim Bhd has entered into a memorandum of agreement with Hong Kong-registered shipping company Allcontinents International Shipping Ltd to acquire an oil and chemical tanker, MT Rong Yao Wu Zhou, for 157.0mn yuan.

GDB Holdings Bhd has secured a RM439.4mn contract to construct the Wolo Hotel & Residences Mont Kiara KL project in Kuala Lumpur from Magma Group Bhd.

MyNews Holdings Bhd has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Thung Hing Metal Industry Sdn Bhd to acquire 13.5 acres industrial land in Rawang for RM24.7mn to build a new distribution centre.

OCR Group Bhd has entered into a conditional share sale agreement to acquire a 49.0% stake in Chester Properties Sdn Bhd from Datuk Howard Chew Si Hoo for RM19.6mn.

Prestar Resources Bhd plans to acquire three semi-detached factory units at Serendah Technology Park in Rawang North, Selangor, for a total of RM15.4mn, as the steel products manufacturer expands its industrial footprint.

London-listed Aberdeen Group plc has emerged as a substantial shareholder in MTT Shipping and Logistics Bhd after purchasing 126.9mn shares or a 5.1% stake.

Lembaga Tabung Haji has re-emerged as a substantial shareholder of optical retail chain operator Focus Point Holdings Bhd after purchasing 570,000 shares on 23 July 23, 2026, raising its stake to 5.1%.

United Plantations Bhd’s 2QFY26 net profit fell 22.0% YoY to RM194.0mn, as higher operating expenses and lower joint venture contributions weighed on its earnings.

Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd’s 4QFY26 net profit rose 44.9% YoY to RM72.6mn on improved margins and the absence of one-off IPO related expenses incurred in the corresponding quarter last year.

CTOS Digital Bhd’s 2QFY26 net profit rose 7.0% YoY to RM22.7mn, as revenue climbed 10.0% YoY to RM86.9mn.

UOA REIT declared an interim income distribution of 3.94sen/unit as its 2QFY26 net property income surged 30.8% YoY to RM23.5mn on improved occupancies and lower maintenance cost.
