KUALA LUMPUR: AME Elite Consortium Bhd and KLK Land Sdn Bhd have unveiled i-Park@Coalfields, a RM1.3bil industrial park development in Coalfields, Selangor.
In a statement, the companies said the 151.2-acre freehold development, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.3bil, is being undertaken by Central Gateway Development Sdn Bhd, a 60:40 joint venture between AME Elite and KLK Land.
The project combines AME Elite's expertise in integrated industrial park development with KLK Land's township planning experience to establish a new industrial hub adjacent to the Coalfields township.
Located along the LATAR Expressway, i-Park@Coalfields is positioned within Klang Valley's emerging northern industrial corridor.
The development also has access to major highways, including the North-South Expressway and West Coast Expressway, and is within a 30km radius of Port Klang and Subang Airport.
Central Gateway director Dylan Tan Teck Eng said the project aims to become a premier investment destination for multinational corporations and local companies in high-value industries.
These include advanced manufacturing, semiconductor and electronics, automotive, medical and pharmaceutical, technology-driven industries and logistics.
“Building on AME Elite’s track record in Johor and Penang, we are now bringing the flagship model to Selangor. With KLK Land’s township expertise, the project reflects our commitment to creating long-term value for businesses and contributing to the state’s economic growth,” he said.
i-Park@Coalfields is a GreenRE-registered development offering flexible industrial solutions, integrating master-planned infrastructure, future-ready digital connectivity, and sustainable design.
The industrial park will also feature a commercial and lifestyle hub, electric vehicle (EV)-ready infrastructure, dedicated management services and an artificial intelligence-powered security management system to facilitate round-the-clock operations.
The master plan comprises semi-detached factories for light and medium industries, detached factory lots and freehold build-to-suit (BTS) parcels of one acre and above. The entire development is expected to be completed within five years.
Phase One will feature 1.5-storey semi-detached factories designed to provide ready-built industrial space with sustainable features and functional layouts for businesses seeking faster operational deployment.
