Festival of Marketing Asia 2026 to drive industry excellence

PETALING JAYA: The inaugural Festival of Marketing Asia, to be held in Kuala Lumpur this year, is set to draw top brand marketers from across Asia-Pacific, cementing the city’s position as a regional hub for marketing leadership and innovation.

The festival, taking place on Sept 3, 2026 at Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur, will see over 300 mid-to senior-level business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) marketers come together for a day of strategic content, real-world case studies and peer-to-peer learning.

“We believe this platform will play an important role in strengthening the marketing ecosystem in Malaysia and across the wider region,” said Hassan Alsagoff, president of the Malaysia Advertisers Association (MAA).

Organised by Haymarket Media Asia, the publisher of Campaign Asia, the event is backed by the MAA with the support of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), reflecting its importance as a platform to advance marketing excellence in the region.

“Marketing has become a key driver of business growth, innovation and long-term brand value,” Hassan said.

The new flagship festival builds on the success of the United Kingdom’s Festival of Marketing.

Festival of Marketing Asia 2026 will feature an Asia-focused programme centred around the opportunities and challenges facing marketers across the region.

The event will be designed around practical, case study-led content, with every session delivering actionable insights and measurable takeaways from marketers and brands who are currently shaping the future of the industry.

Speakers representing leading organisations, including Disney Cruise Line, PETRONAS Lubricants International and Agoda, are featured in the event’s programme.

“As marketing continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, there has never been a greater need for marketers across the industry to come together to share ideas, challenge thinking and learn from one another,” said Atifa Silk, managing director of Haymarket Media Asia.

“Festival of Marketing Asia has been created to deliver exactly that – a premium learning experience built around practical case studies, meaningful conversations and the real-world challenges marketers across Asia are navigating today.”

Delegates at the festival can expect to acquire new perspectives on brand building, customer experience, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, creativity and business growth through keynote presentations, specialist business-tobusiness and buiness-to-consumer tracks, and an invitation-only CMO Boardroom.

Stephan Loerke, chief executive officer of WFA, also stressed the importance of events such as Festival of Marketing Asia for propelling growth in the sector.

“As the marketing landscape continues to rapidly evolve globally, platforms like this are essential in fostering collaboration, shared learnings and stronger connections across the industry,” he said.
