SRKK AI expands into Indonesia, wins first RM244,590 contract

KUALA LUMPUR: SRKK AI Bhd has expanded into Indonesia with the incorporation of PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia in Jakarta and secured its first contract in the country worth US$60,000 (RM244,590).

In a statement, the digital transformation solutions provider said the contract is for a data analytics and artificial intelligence project for a regional retailer in Indonesia and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.

The company said the expansion follows its recent initial public offering (IPO), which raised RM1.84mil to fund its regional expansion into Indonesia. It has also completed four proof-of-concept projects in Jakarta over the past year.

Chief executive officer Yew Lip Sin said the contract marks the group's first commercial project in Indonesia and strengthens its presence in the market.

“As part of our stance to leverage local leadership, PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia will be helmed by the multi-year experienced Edmund Situmorang as President Director, supported by our first Data & AI Technical Architect in Indonesia. We are confident that our foray in Indonesia is off to a good start,” he added.

SRKK AI said Indonesia's digital transformation industry is projected to grow from about 1,054.1 trillion rupiah (RM274.1bil) in 2026 to 1,270.7 trillion rupiah (RM330.4bil) by 2028.
