Bursa Malaysia issues show-cause notice to Vinvest over potential delisting

KUALA LUMPUR: Vinvest Capital Holdings Bhd has received a notice from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd to show cause why trading of its securities should not be suspended and why the company should not be delisted from the ACE Market.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction engineering company said it received the notice on July 10 after failing to regularise its financial condition under the ACE Market Listing Requirements by appointing a sponsor within three months from its first announcement on April 8, 2026.

Bursa Securities noted that Vinvest missed the July 8 deadline to appoint a sponsor and did not apply for an extension of time.

The exchange has given the company five market days, until July 17, 2026, to submit written representations, supported by documentary evidence where applicable, explaining why its securities should not be suspended from trading and removed from the official list.
