RNG Tech triples Thailand vending massage chair network ahead of listing

KUALA LUMPUR: RNG Tech Bhd has expanded its vending massage chair network in Thailand to 1,818 units as at May 18, 2026, nearly three times higher than the 609 units recorded at the end of 2025.

In a statement, the operator of the "Rest N Go" brand of vending massage chair services said the expansion followed its successful bids for locations under Lotus Thailand and Big C Thailand in late 2025.

"Thailand has emerged as one of our key growth markets following the successful Lotus Thailand and Big C Thailand bids secured in late 2025.

“Since then, we have been progressively rolling out our vending massage chairs across these retail chains, enabling us to rapidly expand our presence and strengthen our market position,” managing director Datin Sophia Tan Sok Fei said.

She said the growth in Thailand reflected the scalability of RNG Tech's technology-enabled business model, with a wider network of vending massage chairs across high-traffic retail locations providing a platform for revenue growth.

Thailand contributed RM3.7mil, or 21.9%, of the group's RM16.9mil revenue for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026 (1Q26), compared with RM2.7mil, or 5.4%, of full-year revenue in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY25).

RNG Tech posted a net profit attributable to owners of RM3.4mil for 1Q26, compared with RM6mil for the whole of FY25. Revenue for FY25 stood at RM49.3mil.

RNG Tech is scheduled to list on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities on July 7.
