Favelle Favco secures supply contracts worth RM504mil

PETALING JAYA: Favelle Favco Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Favelle Favco Cranes (M) Sdn Bhd has secured three crane supply contracts worth RM504mil, supported by demand from artificial intelligence (AI)-related infrastructure projects.

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the contracts comprise two letters of intent (LOIs) to supply offshore cranes to Floating Production Solutions Sdn Bhd and Dialog E&C Sdn Bhd, with deliveries expected by the second quarter of 2027.

The group also received an LOI from Samsung C&T Corporation to supply tower cranes, with staggered deliveries scheduled from the end of 2026 to the second quarter of 2027.

Favelle Favco said a significant portion of the newly secured orders is driven by customers' investments in AI-related infrastructure.

"The company is well-positioned to benefit from the continued expansion of AI investments and remains optimistic that this long-term industry trend will continue to generate business opportunities, subject to market conditions," it added.
