ASB 3 Didik declares 5.5 sen distribution, highest in eight years

KUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB)’s wholly-owned unit trust management company, Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), has declared an income distribution of 5.50 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Bumiputera 3 Didik (ASB 3 Didik) for the financial year ended June 30, 2026.

In a statement, PNB said the distribution amounts to RM480mil and will benefit 354,651 unitholders holding 9.85 billion units.

“This represents a total return of 5.50%, the fund’s highest distribution in the past eight years, outperforming its benchmark, the Maybank 12-Month Fixed Deposit rate of 2.05%, by 345 basis points,” it added.

It said ASB 3 Didik recorded a net realised income of RM568mil as of June 22, 2026. The latest payout is higher than the 5.25 sen per unit distributed for the previous financial year.

ASNB also announced that ASB 3 Didik is the first fund to implement zakat al-Mustaghallat through the collective (Khultah) payment method.

Muslim unitholders who opt for Class B will receive income distributions after zakat deductions, with the declared 5.50% distribution translating into a net dividend rate of 5.36% after applying a zakat rate of 2.57%.

The income distribution will be automatically reinvested into unitholders' accounts on July 1, 2026.

Transactions for ASB 3 Didik at ASNB branches, agents, online channels and internet banking services will be suspended from June 26 to June 30 to facilitate the distribution calculation, before resuming on July 1.
