PETALING JAYA: Keyfield International Bhd
has announced that it has secured 13 contracts worth RM229mil, to be carried out in Malaysia, Thailand and the Middle East.
In a statement, the offshore vessel provider said these contracts, which also come with extension options worth approximately RM41mil, further diversify Keyfield's customer base internationally and reinforce the group's position as one of Malaysia's leading offshore vessel owners and operators.
“Including the eight contracts announced earlier this year, Keyfield has secured 21 charter contracts within the first half of 2026.”
Keyfield said the contracts involve a diverse mix of vessel categories within the group’s fleet as well as third-party vessels, reflecting its ability to support a broad range of offshore oil and gas activities.
“The contracts have/will commence(d) in the second and third quarter of 2026, with firm charter periods ranging from one month to seventeen months.
“Some of the contracts also include extension options ranging from fifteen days to five months.”
The company said these contracts reinforce its earnings visibility through 2027 as they are expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026 and Dec 31, 2027.
