TFP Solutions unit partners ACO in development of AI wellness medical card programme


KUALA LUMPUR: TFP Solutions Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary MBP Solutions Sdn Bhd has inked a collaboration with Asean Cooperatives Organisation (ACO) for the joint development and distribution of an AI wellness Medical Card programme.

In a stock exchange filing, the group said the programme targets ACO cooperative members and international markets.

The agreement is valid for a five years from the date of execution.

According to TFP, the strategic initiative is to strengthen its presence in the digital and Insurtech sectors through MBP’s collaboration with VSure Tech Sdn Bhd.

"The collaboration is expected to complement the group’s existing business portfolio by facilitating the provision of digital lifestyle solutions, including AI-powered medical and wellness card solutions, to ACO members throughout Asean countries which comprise of 66.6 million members across all 10 Asean

member states.

"The board is of the view that the proposed collaboration will provide opportunities for the group to expand its market reach and enhance its suite of value-added digital solutions, thereby contributing positively to the group’s long-term growth prospects."
