Hextar Capital wins RM60.4mil upgrading job


PETALING JAYA: Hextar Capital Bhd (HCB) has been awarded a subcontract for the Timah Tasoh project in Perlis with a contract value of RM60.4mil.

In a statement, HCB said it would undertake the balance upgrading works of the Timah Tasoh dam in Perlis, environmental protection and enhancement, piling and construction of protection bunds L5, L6 and L7 and related construction work for the Timah Tasoh project.

“The project is scheduled to commence on June 9, 2026 and is expected to be completed by June 15, 2027, with a total contract duration of about 12 months.”

HCB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and throughout the duration of the project.

HCB is a diversified company with operations spanning manufacturing, engineering services and trading, telecommunication network infrastructure solutions, power generation and transmission, construction and project management as well as money lending.
