KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Friday include Berjaya Corp Bhd, Sapura Industrial Bhd, MISC Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), Velesto Energy Bhd and Sentoria Group Bhd following their latest news.

Tan Sri Vincent Tan sold RM115mil worth of shares in conglomerate Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp), extending a series of disposals that have reduced his holding in the company to about 15%.

The founder of Berjaya offloaded 461.65 million shares through seven transactions on May 28, cutting his direct stake to 4.1% and his deemed interest to about 11%, according to a filing to Bursa Malaysia late Wednesday.

MISC has entered into a long-term tenancy agreement with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) to renew the lease of its office space at Menara Dayabumi, Kuala Lumpur, in a deal valued at an estimated RM433mil over 15 years.

MAHB will allocate about RM11bil in capital expenditure (capex) over the next five years to support airport infrastructure expansion and modernisation across its network nationwide.

AirAsia X has dismissed reports that its Philippine operations were being grounded over unpaid airport fees, calling them a coordinated smear campaign aimed at undermining competition.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has since confirmed that AirAsia Philippines has settled over PHP270 million (RM17.42 million) in outstanding fees, with all flights continuing as scheduled.

Sapura Industrial Bhd is disposing of a 2.163ha tract of leasehold land in Bukit Katil, Tempat Ayer Keroh, in Melaka to Loongsen Plastics (M) Sdn Bhd for RM10.48mil.

Sentoria Group’s shares, listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd, will be suspended from trading effective June 12, 2026.

The property developer stated that it will be delisted on June 16, 2026, unless an appeal against the delisting is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before June 11, 2026.

Velesto Energy via its wholly-owned subsidiary Velesto Sumber Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from Northern Gulf Petroleum Pte Ltd (NGP) for the provision of jack-up drilling rig services and associated services offshore Thailand.

Velesto will provide NAGA 6 for a drilling campaign entailing four infill wells and three exploration wells in the Gulf of Thailand.
