ITMAX secures variation order of RM80mil

PETALING JAYA: ITMax System Bhd has announced that its subsidiary, Southmax Sdn Bhd, has been awarded an RM79.9mil variation order (VO) by Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP).

Under the VO, ITMAX said it will undertake the deployment of additional smart traffic light controllers across the Iskandar Puteri area, further expanding the existing smart traffic system under MBIP.

“The VO will run until 2038, with an option to extend until 2046,” said the artificial intelligence (AI) powered integrated digital infrastructure service provider.

ITMAX managing director and chief executive officer William Tan Wei Lun said the VO further strengthens the firm’s footprint in Johor and reflects the growing confidence in the group’s AI-powered smart traffic solutions.
