PETALING JAYA: Exsim Hospitality Bhd has secured a RM45mil contract from AmFIRST Real Estate Investment Trust (AmFIRST-REIT) for the execution, construction and completion works of a 17-storey hotel with three basement levels known as Summit Hotel USJ.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary EXSIM Concepto Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award dated May 19, 2026 awarded by Maybank Trustees Bhd, acting as trustee for AmFIRST-REIT.
The contract will commence on May 22, 2026 and will be completed in three phases. Phase 1A entails the common area and architectural works which are expected to be completed by Oct 28, 2026.
Phase 1B involves 183 units of guest room work, while Phase 2 entails 149 units of guest room work.
