Swift Haulage’s profit, revenue post increase

The bottomline increase was mainly due to higher gross profit and reduced finance costs, partially offset by higher overhead costs.

PETALING JAYA: Swift Haulage Bhd’s net profit rose 4% in the first quarter ended March 31, 2026 (1Q26) to RM7.5mil from RM7.2mil a year earlier, while revenue edged up to RM189.5mil from RM189.2mil previously.

The bottomline increase was mainly due to higher gross profit and reduced finance costs, partially offset by higher overhead costs.

Meanwhile, revenue was primarily contributed by container haulage (RM72.2mil) and land transportation (RM67.6mil), collectively amounting to 73.8% of total group revenue.

The integrated logistics services firm said demand across its core logistics segments is expected to remain steady heading into the second quarter of the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, despite uncertainties arising from the evolving conflict in the Middle East.
