NCT unit inks 100-acre land deal for DCs

KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd says its wholly-owned subsidiary NCT World Sdn Bhd has inked a term sheet for the proposed sale of a 100-acre land parcel that has been specifically positioned to support data centre (DC) developments within the NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP).

It said in a statement the proposed development is expected to support up to 800 megawatts of DC capacity.

“The entry of a global DC operator into NSIP enhances the park’s profile and reinforces its appeal to high-quality investors, supporting continued investment momentum across the development,” it added.

According to NCT Alliance, NSIP’s managed industrial park model entails integrated infrastructure, centralised estate management as well as long-term master planning.
