Sealink secures US$17.28mil settlement for Brazil vessel fire


KUALA LUMPUR: Sealink International Bhd has secured a total settlement sum of US$17.28mil following a fire incident involving one of its vessels in Brazil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated service provider specialising in the offshore marine industry said the relevant parties have executed the settlement agreement and related insurance claim forms.

“The company is currently working with the relevant parties towards the completion of the insurance claims process, including the disbursement of the insurance proceeds,” Sealink said.
