PLB records better 2Q after land disposal


PETALING JAYA: PLB Engineering Bhd says it will continue exploring opportunities to secure construction projects with recurring income to sustain its earnings.

The group added its outlook is tied to the construction and property development sector, adding that its new external construction project in Penang is expected to contribute to its turnover with unbilled sales of RM7.92mil over the year.

For the second quarter ended Feb 28, 2026 (2Q26), PLB posted a net profit of RM5.36mil, compared with RM107,000 a year ago.

The group saw a revenue of RM60.6mil versus RM25.9mil in 2Q25.

It also recorded a bottom line of RM4.78mil, overturning from a net loss of RM1.7mil in the same period last year.
