Perak Transit names Jeffrey Cheong deputy


The company said Cheong will drive transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing both its transport and retail ecosystem.

PETALING JAYA: Perak Transit Bhd has appointed Jeffrey Cheong Mun Kwong as deputy executive director to lead the group’s digitalisation efforts across its operations.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated public transportation terminal developer and operator said Cheong will drive transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing both its transport and retail ecosystem.

“In his new role, Cheong will spearhead the group’s transformation initiatives, focusing on integrating innovative retail concepts into Perak Transit’s transportation infrastructure,” the company noted.

This includes introducing live commerce capabilities within its terminal network, leveraging the convergence of logistics, warehousing and digital retail.
