AWC said the contractor is a Malaysia-based joint venture between two private companies.

PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has secured a RM22.18mil subcontract for works related to a data centre project, marking another step in the group’s push into high-tech and mission-critical infrastructure.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Qudotech Sdn Bhd, had secured a letter of acceptance from a joint venture contractor to undertake plumbing, silo tank and internal sanitary works for the project.

The subcontract is scheduled to run from Jan 9, 2026 to Dec 27, 2026. While the identity of the awarding party and certain project details were not disclosed due to confidentiality obligations, AWC said the contractor is a Malaysia-based joint venture between two private companies.

The companies are involved in civil engineering, construction and project management, including large-scale infrastructure.
