DKSH Malaysia privatisation plan fails as shareholders reject SCR

KUALA LUMPUR: The privatisation of DKSH Holdings (M) Bhd (DKSH Malaysia) via a selective capital reduction (SCR) has fallen through after shareholders rejected the plan at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) today.

In December 2025, DKSH Holding Ltd, through its wholly owned unit DKSH Resources (M) Sdn Bhd, submitted an offer to acquire the remaining 25.7% stake it does not own in DKSH Malaysia, with plans to delist the company from Bursa Malaysia.
