KUALA LUMPUR: Zetrix AI Bhd has announced its role as a key founding member of the newly launched World Data Organization (WDO), an international body that functions as a platform for data cooperation and sharing digital development opportunities.

According to a statement issued by Zetrix AI, the Beijing-based organisation is composed of a diverse membership that includes enterprises from across multiple industries, universities, think tanks, international organisations and financial institutions, and other entities from the global data sector.

Zetrix AI, as a founding member, is a member of the inaugural council and the lead representative for Asean.

“Data is the new factor of production in a world where AI is omnipresent. Every entity holds valuable data and WDO plays a pivotal role in enabling this value to be unlocked thus creating a new source of wealth.

"AI agents built on such comprehensive datasets can execute their tasks more accurately and efficiently,” explained TS Wong, group managing director of Zetrix AI.
