Shangri-La inks new UBN Tower tenancy deals


PETALING JAYA: Shangri-La Hotels (M) Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, UBN Tower Sdn Bhd, has entered into tenancy agreements with Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd and PPB Group Bhd for the rental of office spaces at UBN Tower for a three-year term commencing April 1, 2026, at a rental rate of RM6.40 per sq ft.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Shangri-La Hotels said Kuok Brothers will be renting an office space measuring 13,580 sq ft at a monthly rental of RM86,912.

Meanwhile, PPB Group will be renting an office space measuring 13,611 sq ft at a monthly rental of RM87,110.

Shangri-La Hotels said the parties had been renting the demised premises for a three-year term from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2023, which was renewed for a further term of three years.

The existing term at the current rental of RM6.20 per sq ft is due to expire today.
