iCents secures RM14.1mil data centre contract in Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR: iCents Group Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Maytech Cleanroom Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, has secured a data centre contract in Indonesia worth approximately RM14.1mil.

In a statement, the comprehensive cleanroom solutions provider said Maytech Cleanroom accepted a letter of award from an Indonesian dealer to undertake the project.

The contract involves the design, supply and delivery of data centre systems, with the products to be delivered to a multinational construction company undertaking the project. Completion is expected by June 2026.

Managing director Vincent Ong Mum Fei said: “The award of this contract reflects our continued participation in data centre-related projects, including those outside Malaysia.”

“This project is expected to contribute positively to our earnings over its duration, and we remain focused on delivering the scope of work in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines and quality standards,” he said.

Meanwhile, executive director Foo Siang Leng said the project marks another step in expanding the group’s presence beyond the domestic market.

He said following its involvement in data centre projects in Thailand since last year, the contract in Indonesia further reflects its growing regional footprint.

“Our team will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of the data centre systems, while maintaining our commitment to quality, safety and operational discipline.”
