Meta Bright bags RM18mil EPCC contract


PETALING JAYA: Meta Bright Group Bhd (MBGB), via its 70%-owned subsidiary TTOP Industrial & Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a purchase order issued by Company A for Package 5: engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works in Negeri Sembilan worth RM18.2mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MBGB said the works comprises electrical and instrumentation, including design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning.

“Company A is a private company incorporated in Malaysia and forms part of a regional renewable energy group principally involved in the development, ownership, operation and maintenance of renewable energy and power transmission assets, including solar, hydropower, wind and battery energy storage systems, with operations across multiple markets in Asia.

“The identity of Company A has not been disclosed in this announcement in view of the confidentiality obligations under the contract.”

MBGB said the notice to proceed is Aug 28, 2026, and the works are scheduled to be completed on April 28, 2027.
