MN Holdings bags RM216mil DC contract


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary MN Utilities Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM216mil contract in relation to a project involving the implementation of a consumer substation for a data centre (DC) in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the customer, which was unnamed, was principally engaged in activities of providing infrastructure for hosting, data processing services and related activities.

“The scope of works will include the design, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the CS (Plot 2) located at the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

“This encompasses the supply of labour, equipment and materials for the construction works within the boundary of the CS (Plot 2) (including perimeter fencing) as well as the connection of high-voltage cables between the respective CS site,” it said.
