CJ Century Logistics appoints Melissa Khoo as CEO


PETALING JAYA: CJ Century Logistics Holdings Bhd has appointed Melissa Khoo Lay Geok as its chief executive officer, effective March 1.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the supply chain solutions company said Khoo (60) will succeed Teow Choo Hing (66), who has resigned to pursue personal interests.

CJ Century Logistics said Khoo holds a Master of Science in logistics and supply chain management from the University of Bolton, United Kingdom (UK) and an advanced diploma in business from the University of Cambridge, UK.

“She brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, spanning freight forwarding, contract logistics, and integrated solutions across Asia Pacific.”

The group added that Khoo previously held senior leadership roles at DB Schenker, including head of vertical market - technology for Singapore and Malaysia, where she led strategies tailored to global technology clients.

Khoo was also chief commercial officer for Vietnam and Cambodia, where she developed market entry strategies, strengthened account management frameworks, and built high performing teams to support rapid regional growth.

“These experiences equipped her with a unique blend of commercial acumen, operational leadership, and technological foresight, accelerating the company's footprint across Asia Pacific markets.”
