Saripuddin steps down as MRT Corp chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kasim has stepped down as chairman of Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), effective March 1, 2026.

In a statement, MRT Corp said Saripuddin decided to relinquish the role to pursue other interests.

“MRT Corp expresses its gratitude to Saripuddin for his leadership and guidance during his tenure as chairman and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours,” it said.
