Eversendai's FY25 net profit surges to RM110.41mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corporation Bhd’s net profit surged to RM110.41 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY2025) from RM13.40 million in FY2024.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, revenue for FY2025 rose by 71.1 per cent, or RM887.1 million, to RM2.14 billion from RM1.25 billion previously, mainly due to all ongoing projects progressing as per schedule, continuous efforts to reduce operating expenses, and reduced finance costs and forex (foreign exchange) gains.

"The group’s Middle East segment continues to contribute the largest share of the revenue during the current quarter, which amounted to RM456.6 million or 74.2 per cent, followed by India with RM104 million or 16.9 per cent and Southeast Asia with RM55.0 million or 8.9 per cent of the total group revenue,” it said.

For the fourth quarter (4Q) of FY2025, the group’s net profit increased to RM59.52 million from RM8.29 million in 4Q FY2024.

Revenue for 4Q FY2025 climbed up to RM615.55 million from RM337.56 million previously, due to the reduction in operating expenses, finance costs and forex gains during the quarter.

On prospects, the group said it remains positive and optimistic about its future to achieve improved financial performance progressively.

"The management remains focused on operational efficiency and disciplined project delivery to ensure revenues translate into sustained profitability.

"Eversendai is continuously improving with reorganisation of its resources with a strong focus on optimisation of costs and improving operational efficiency,” it added. - Bernama
