Perdana Petroleum unit receives two work orders from PETRONAS Carigali


KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Petroleum Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd has secured two work orders from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of two anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels.

It said in a bourse filing the estimated contract value will vary based on the work ordered issued by the charterer throughout the duration of the contracts. 

The proposed duration of the work order for the first vessel is 130 days with an option to extend for 60 days, while the second vessel will be chartered for 62 days with an option to extend for 30 days.

Perdana Petroleum shall provide the vessels with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24-hour service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor job.
