Resintech unit secures RM16 mil HDPE pipes contract in Cambodia

PETALING JAYA: Resintech Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Resintech Plastics (M) Sdn Bhd has a contract agreement with Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PPWSA) for the supply and delivery of high-density polyethylene pipes and fittings.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Resintech said the materials are for the Bakheng Water Supply Project Phase 3 project and valued at RM16mil. The contract is for five months, beginning Dec 26, 2025, until May 2026.

It added that the contract is not renewable.

Resintech Plastics is involved in civil engineering, building and construction works, among others, while PPWSA is engaged in the production and supply of potable water to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Phnom Penh and surrounding areas.

Resintech expects the contract to contribute positively towards its earnings for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, and until the expiry of the contract.
