Muhibbah wins new contract from PETRONAS


The oil and gas services group said the value of the contract is estimated at between RM700mil and RM850mil.

PETALING JAYA: Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd has accepted an award from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of minor engineering, procurement and construction of wellhead platforms for the Sepat Integrated Redevelopment Project, off Kuala Terengganu.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas services group said the value of the contract is estimated at between RM700mil and RM850mil.

“The contract is scheduled to commence this month and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2029.”

The company said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Muhibbah Group during the contract period for the current and following financial years.
