Binasat lands RM52mil govt project


PETALING JAYA: Binasat Communications Bhd has accepted a contract from Lembaga Dius Api for managed and secure Internet service featuring software-defined wide area network for the headquarters, collection offices and navigation system.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract is valued at RM52.46mil. It will commence on Jan 2, 2026 and will be completed in 60 months on Jan 1, 2031.

The contract will not have any material effect on the net assets and gearing of Binasat and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Binasat Group over the duration of the contract, it said.
