DNeX to be included in F4GBM, F4GBMS indices from Dec 22


KUALA LUMPUR: Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) will be included in the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia (F4GBM) Index and FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Shariah (F4GBMS) Index, effective Dec 22, 2025.

The global technology company said in a statement today that the inclusion follows the strategic establishment of a dedicated Group Sustainability Unit in 2021.

DNeX head of group risk and sustainability management Mathias Varming said the inclusion in the indices is a powerful validation of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategic commitment throughout the group.

"It transforms our sustainability roadmap from an internal plan into a globally recognised benchmark. This will act as a catalyst to accelerate our initiatives and enhance long-term value creation for all stakeholders,” he said.

According to the statement, the inclusion is expected to enhance its visibility among global investors, provide access to a broader pool of ESG-focused capital, and expand its investor base through automatic inclusion in funds tracking the F4GBM and F4GBMS indices.

DNeX said it will continue to advance its sustainability agenda by using the FTSE4Good framework as a benchmark for continuous improvement in corporate performance and stewardship.  - Bernama
