Trading ideas: Gabungan AQRS, SumiSaujana, Tafi, Muar Ban Lee, Wasco, Magni-Tech


KUALA LUMPUR: Gabungan AQRS Bhd, SumiSaujana Group Bhd, Tafi Industries Bhd, Muar Ban Lee Group Bhd (MBL), Wasco Bhd and Magni-Tech Industries Bhd are among the stocks to watch on Thursday.

Gabungan AQRS has inked a joint venture with Rising Charm Sdn Bhd for a RM600mil mixed development spanning residential, commercial and retail components in Bangi.

The project, set for a 2027 launch, will be funded through internal funds, property sales and bank borrowings.

SumiSaujana has secured a three-year call-out contract to supply specialised chemicals and services to Pengerang Refining Company.

Tafi Industries is selling its Muar land and factory for RM23.5mil as it exits loss-making furniture manufacturing to focus on property and construction.

MBL is acquiring 2.26 acres of industrial land in Muar for RM9.5mil to expand capacity and support growing demand.

Wasco won a contract from Technip Energies Italy estimated at RM619mil to RM826mil for pre-assembled module works.

Magni-Tech posted a 24.7% rise in 2Q26 net profit to RM32.25mil, while revenue dipped 1.1% year-on-year to RM247.04mil.

For the first half ended Oct 31, 2025 (1H26), Magni-Tech's revenue fell 8.1% to RM724.65mil from RM788.42mil, while net profit slipped 3.8% to RM67.84mil from RM70.51mil.
