KUALA LUMPUR: Genting Bhd, Genting Malaysia Bhd, CelcomDigi Bhd, Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, GPP Resources Bhd, FBG Holdings Bhd, Tuju Setia Bhd, Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust (Sunway REIT), T7 Global Bhd, Malpac Holdings Bhd and Asian Pac Holdings Bhd are among the stocks to watch today.

Genting’s Resorts World was selected alongside Steve Cohen’s Citi Field project and Bally’s Bronx proposal as one of three winners for New York City’s downstate casino licences. Genting plans a US$7.5bil expansion at the Aqueduct racetrack in Queens and says hundreds of table games could be operational by March after final approval.

Separately, Genting now holds 73.13% of Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM), or 4.14 billion shares (excluding treasury shares), after its RM2.35-per-share unconditional takeover offer closed at 5pm on Dec 1, 2025.

CelcomDigi has accepted spectrum assignments from the MCMC for the 1800MHz and 2600MHz bands, effective Nov 30, 2025. The telco paid RM292.5mil upfront and will make RM120mil in cumulative annual payments over the assignment periods.

Matrix Concepts has handed over a RM50mil premium payment to the Negeri Sembilan state government for the Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV 2.0) project.

GPP Resources is buying a Johor Baru industrial property for RM5mil to secure a long-term operational facility and support future expansion.

FBG has signed a third amendment to its contract with the Australian Department of Defence, adding a new RM132.51mil work package to the Butterworth infrastructure project at the Royal Malaysian Air Force base in Butterworth, Penang.

Tuju Setia has secured a contract worth RM420mil from Sunway Bhd to construct serviced apartments and facilities for the Sunway Cochrane development project in Kuala Lumpur.

Sunway REIT has appointed Derek Teh Wan Wei as its chief executive officer, with the 47-year-old currently serving as vice-chairman of the Malaysian REIT Managers Association.

T7 Global has appointed Azman Yakim as its new group CEO, succeeding Tan Kay Zhuin, who moves to the board as executive director.

Asian Pac chief executive officer Chai Yee Choong, 54, has resigned with immediate effect to pursue other opportunities. The property developer said Chai has also stepped down as a director of the company.

Malpac’s shares will be suspended from trading on Bursa Malaysia starting Dec 9, 2025. The suspension follows the company’s failure to submit its regularisation plan by the extended deadline of Nov 28, though it has requested a further 12-month extension.
