PETALING JAYA: NuEnergy Holdings Bhd
(NHB) has secured a letter of award from Muhibbah Solar Sdn Bhd relating to engineering, construction and commissioning for the development of 15MWac Large Scale Solar photovoltaic plant (LSSPV) at Beaufort, Sabah worth RM16.89mil.
It also secured an award with Muhibbah Solar for the sale and purchase of solar materials for the project, worth RM39.41mil.
NHB said the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
“The rationale for undertaking this contract is to strengthen NHB’s presence in East Malaysia and accelerate its market penetration in the region.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to NHB’s revenue and profitability, while showcasing NHB’s technical capability and capacity to deliver large-scale projects in East Malaysia.”
The group said the contract also reinforces NHB’s reputation and competitiveness within the regional market, further positioning it for continued growth and future opportunities across East Malaysia.
