FBM KLCI higher at midday, bucks regional trend


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia’s benchmark index ended the morning session higher amid mild accumulation in selected heavyweights, despite the weaker performance in regional markets. 

At 12.30 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 6.52 points, or 0.40 per cent, to 1,620.58, from Tuesday’s close of 1,614.06.
