Kerjaya Prospek secures deals worth RM198mil


PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Permatang Bakti Sdn Bhd (PBSB) and Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPM), have accepted letters of award from Serta Usaha Sdn Bhd and Tanjung Pinang Development Sdn Bhd respectively, with a total contract value of RM197.7mil.

In a statement, the construction firm said the first contract, awarded to PBSB, is valued at RM100.2mil.

“Located in Section 15, Shah Alam, Selangor, the project involves the construction of Viera 15, a 39-storey serviced apartment comprising 479 units and six levels of podium parking, among others facilities.

“The contract will commence on Nov 17, and is expected to be completed within 34 months from the commencement date.

The second contract, awarded to KPM, is valued at RM97.5mil.

“It covers the construction of five canal bridges, each 80m in length, to connect Phase 2A, 2B, and 2C on Andaman Island, Penang.

“Scheduled to commence on Nov 24, the project is expected to be completed within 33 months from the commencement date.”
